Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Officer assaulted/arrest: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy in an automotive assault Sunday night that injured Sgt. Lloyd Caster after he stopped a suspected stolen van at Orleans Street and Milton Avenue. As Caster was stepping from his patrol car about 9:40 p.m., the driver of the van pinned Caster between both vehicles before he and a passenger fled on foot. Caster was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a foot injury. About 5 p.m. yesterday, police arrested the boy - believed to have been the passenger - and were seeking the driver.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 5700 block of Cross County Blvd. through a door Sunday and stole $500.

Burglary: A stereo receiver and a DVD player were stolen Sunday from a house in the 4000 block of Hickory Ave.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery/arrests: Juvenile court proceedings are pending against four teen-age boys arrested Saturday, shortly after the robbery of a 15-year-old boy of a compact disc player, $6 and a watch after an altercation in the 1700 block of N. Rolling Road. The property was recovered.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary/arrests: Five boys, ages 10 to 14, were arrested Sunday and charged with breaking into a garage on Meadow Heights Road and stealing a remote control go-cart.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Tollgate Exxon in the 10500 block of Reisterstown Road of cash and several cartons of cigarettes about 4 a.m. Sunday.
