On September 5, 2002, WALTER E., devoted son of Lorraine E. Bedford, loving father of Denae Jones and step-father of Audra Garey. He is also survived by three sisters, Jeanette, Shelia and Judy, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Friends may call at the Gary P. March Funeral Home, 270 Fred Hilton Pass on Thursday from 10 A.M. until 7 P.M. Remains will lie in state at St. Bernadines Catholic Church, 3812 Edmondson Avenue, Friday 10 A.M. where family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12 Noon. Mass of the Resurrection to follow. Bittle, Kathryn

On September 10, 2002, KATHRYN (nee Ostemuk), a classy lady with a heart of gold, who was very dedicated to the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church. A lover of all types of animals; beloved wife of the late Joseph Bittle; loving aunt of John Panasuk and Beverly, Tim Keck and Margaret, Linda Wilson, Patricia Kirilloff and Janet Fenwick. Also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather at MILLER-DIPPLE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6415 Belair Road on Thursday and Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Panikhida Service will be held on Friday at 7 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. LORENA W. (nee White), age 79, of Wiley Retirement Center, Marlton, NJ on September 9, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Aquilla. Devoted mother of Dolores V. Malone of Voorhees, NJ, Edna Lorena Marcus of Orlando, FL. Jerrianna Porter of Lindenwold, NJ and Russell I. Blue, Jr. of Westville, NJ. Dear sister of Alonzo W. (Rose) White of Atlanta, GA and Joseph C. (Phyllis) White of Kissimmee, FL. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lorena was born in Baltimore, MD and graduated from Douglas High School. She was a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Gerontology and entered Rutgers Masters of Social Work Program. Lorena was very active in the United Methodist Church and served on numerous Greater NJ United Methodist Conference Committees. She was also very active with Black Methodist for Church Renewal at both state and national levels. She was a devoted member of Old Orchards United Methodist Church in Cherry Hill. Lorena was a retired government employee having worked at the Naval Aviation Supply Depot in Philadelphia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Saturday 11 A.M. at Old Orchards United Methodist Church, 1995 E. Rte. 70 Cherry Hill, NJ where a viewing will be held from 9 to 11 A.M.
