Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Robbery try/arrest: A woman, 46, was operating as an unlicensed cab driver Monday afternoon, police said, when a man she drove to the 1900 block of N. Bentalou St. pulled a gun and demanded money. Instead, she fled from the vehicle and called police. The gunman escaped on foot. The driver, Juanita Goode of the 1600 block of E. 20th St., was charged with soliciting money from an illegal taxicab.

Assault: A man was driving a 1997 Acura east on Interstate 170 approaching the Monroe Street overpass about 2 p.m. Tuesday when someone on the overpass shattered his windshield with a rock. The driver was uninjured.

Southern District

Robbery/shooting: A 17-year-old was walking in the 800 block of Bethune Road about 4 p.m. yesterday when a gunman demanded his money. After taking $35, the gunman shot the teen in the upper left leg. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Assault: A man, 44, and his ex-girlfriend were arguing over money outside his house in the 1600 block of Clarkson St. about noon yesterday when he shoved a screen door into her face, knocked her down, struck her in the mouth and kicked her. The woman was treated at Harbor Hospital Center.

Burglary: Someone broke into American Legion Post No. 184 in the 1400 block of W. Pratt St. on Tuesday and stole more than $1,000.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Police were seeking a gunman who robbed a man, 28, of more than $100 at a bus stop in the 1700 block of Dundalk Ave. about 7 p.m. Monday.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Two men attacked a man, 23, at Double Rock Park in the 8200 block of Glen Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of $22.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: An 18-year-old was arrested Tuesday when he tried to leave Finish Line, a sportswear store at Eastpoint Mall, without paying for clothing valued at $125.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Two men knocked a man, 58, to the ground in the 100 block of Overbrook Road about 10 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of his briefcase.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Video games, a camcorder, two cameras and a hand-held computer were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3000 block of Katewood Court.
