Graffiti threats found at school

Murray Hill Middle School administrators sent a letter home with pupils Friday, reassuring parents that the school is safe after threatening graffiti was found in a bathroom at the North Laurel school. The graffiti mentioned a specific student, authorities said.

Police said the incident is being investigated. School officials said they were confident that the graffiti posed no threat to pupils.
