Live Baltimore Home Center will present its fourth annual Buying into Baltimore Home-Buying Fair and Neighborhood Tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at City College, 33rd Street and the Alameda.

The fair is intended to introduce prospective homebuyers to the city's residential neighborhoods east of Charles Street. It provides information on resources to purchase a home in neighborhoods such as Charles Village, Hamilton, Patterson Park and Riverside Park.

"We are the only organization in the region to host a homebuying event of this scale," said Tracy Gosson, executive director of Live Baltimore Home Center. "We are looking forward to showcasing the many affordable homes in the lesser-known neighborhoods that make up the backbone of the thriving eastern region of the city."

Participants will take part in guided tours of neighborhoods, view listings and visit houses for sale, and get advice from more than 50 exhibitors, including real estate agents, mortgage lenders and community-based nonprofit organizations.

The Buying into Baltimore Fair is sponsored by the Live Baltimore Home Center, Baltimore City and Freddie Mac.
