Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Shooting: Davon Strong, 27, of the 1700 block of Bruce Court, was walking in the 1600 block of Bakbury Court about 9 p.m. Saturday when he heard gunshots and felt pain. He was reported in fair condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, under treatment for a bullet wound to the lower back.

Southeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1990 Geo Prism with tags JJE 696 was stolen Saturday in the 3200 block of Esther Place.

Southwestern District

Hit-and-run: Police were seeking the driver of a two-door Ford who struck the rear of a car stopped at a traffic signal in the 900 block of Caton Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday, causing that car to hit a vehicle in front of it. No injuries were reported.

Northern District

Robbery: A man, 33, was in the back yard of his house in the 2700 block of N. Calvert St. about 5 a.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $100.

Robbery: A woman, 34, was walking to her home in the first block of W. 23rd St. Saturday night when a man she recognized joined her. He knocked her to the ground and robbed her of jewelry valued at $1,000.

Southern District

Burglary: Several money orders, two T-shirts and state lottery tickets - all valued at $1,530 - were stolen Saturday from the living room of a house in the first block of W. Fort Ave.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary/arrests: Nine teen-age boys were arrested Friday night and charged with breaking into a storage trailer at Oregon Ridge Park and stealing three kegs of beer. The boys were drinking the beer in a park building when police arrived.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Royal Farms Store in the first block of E. Timonium Road of $121 about 3 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary: Two mahogany doors valued at $2,300 were stolen over the weekend from a house under construction in the 4000 block of Cloverland Drive.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Between Thursday and Saturday, someone broke into a home in the 2500 block of Putty Hill Ave. and stole a 13-inch television, $120 in cash and a winning Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket.
