Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: An electric drill and eyeglasses were stolen yesterday from a 1977 Ford truck parked in the 4500 block of Curtis Ave. The items were valued at $300.

Burglary: At least $200, fried chicken and a TV dinner were stolen yesterday from an apartment in the 700 block of W. Cross St. by someone who entered through an unlocked door.

Southwestern District

Shootings: Two young women were standing with friends in the 200 block of S. Collins Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when an occupant of a passing dark colored car fired into the group. Linda Buie, 20, was struck in the left arm, and Shannon Whitehead, 17, in the abdomen. A friend drove them to St. Agnes HealthCare.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery/arrests: A woman, 25, was at the Central Light Rail station near Aylesbury Road about 8 a.m. Tuesday when a couple she knew demanded that she repay a $10 debt. Police said the couple then robbed the woman of a purse and her backpack and drove off in a car that police stopped nearby. Charged with robbery were Raymond Aldrich, 44, and Tina Aldrich, 34, both of the 11000 block of Pulaski Highway.

Burglary: Someone broke into the bar area of the swimming pool at Padonia Park Club in the 12000 block of Jenifer Road overnight Monday and stole 48 cases of beer and two bottles of wine.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A couple was asleep in their home in the 3700 block of Green Oak Court between 10 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday when someone broke in through a patio door and removed $50 from a table.
