Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Arrest: A woman accused of attempting to kill a city police officer during a weekend drug bust was identified yesterday as a Washington County resident. Police said Officer Hikeen Crampton was in plainclothes in the 100 block of S. Fulton Ave. when he observed a woman in a car purchasing drugs from a man on the street. When Crampton approached, the driver put her car in reverse and struck Crampton. Arrested on charges including assault with intent to murder was Laura Nichols, 28, of Hagerstown. Crampton was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Medical Center.

Southern District

Burglary: Power and hand tools were stolen Sunday from a house under renovation in the 100 block of W. Randall St.

Burglary: A microwave oven, cordless telephone, shop vacuum and postage stamps were stolen Sunday from Switch Services in the 900 block of W. Patapsco Ave.

Southeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A silver Chevrolet Cavalier with tags KGR 942 was stolen Sunday in the 600 block of S. Bouldin St.

Theft: A camera and cellular phone were stolen Sunday from a 1997 Ford F-350 pickup truck parked in the 6500 block of St. Helena Ave.

Eastern District

Robbery: A girl, 13, was walking in the 1500 block of N. Regester St. about 1 p.m. Sunday when a male, 17, pushed her against the hood of a car and robbed her of $5.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A combination 13-inch TV/videocassette recorder, two cordless telephones and clothing - all valued at $670 - were stolen Sunday from an apartment in the 4900 block of Frederick Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A white 1991 Honda Civic with tags FEJ 255 was stolen Sunday in the 400 block of North Bend Road by a man known to the car's owner. No arrest had been made.

Baltimore County, Garrison Precinct

Carjacking: A man, 43, was removing groceries from his blue 1999 Toyota van in front of his home in the 3100 block of Northbrook Road about 10 p.m. Sunday when another man approached, demanded money then ordered him into the vehicle. The assailant drove the victim to a shopping center on Smith Avenue, where he ordered the man out before driving away. The van has tags M274698.

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: Shortly before noon Sunday, a gunman entered the Catonsville branch of Provident Bank of Maryland in the Metro Food Market in the 5400 block of Baltimore National Pike and ordered a teller to give him money from her cash drawer. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed sum.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: A gunman tried to steal a woman's purse at Towson Market Place in the 1200 block of Putty Hill Ave. about 1:20 p.m. Sunday but fled when she resisted.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A chainsaw and a hammer drill were stolen Friday from a shed in the 3200 block of Summit Ave.
