College: Miami

Who he is: He was the Ravens' first-round draft pick and the 24th overall selection. Reed is the first safety selected in the first round in Ravens history. He was a consensus first-team All-American for the Hurricanes, and also won the Football News National Player of the Year award. Reed was unanimously selected to the All-Big East Conference first team and was co-Defensive Player of the Year in the conference. He compiled nine tackles (six solo) and one pass defensed in the national championship against Nebraska.

Favorite football moment: "Winning the national championship with Miami."

What he misses from home: "My family, friends and the cooking."

What he brought to camp: "It's like a little plaque; it's very small. It's called Athlete's Prayer, that someone gave to me in high school and ever since then, I've been carrying with me to every game."

What he does in his free time: "Just stay at home relaxing, watch TV, play games and kick my feet up."
