Thumbs up:Free safety Ed Reed intercepted one pass and deflected another. ... Will Demps, who returned an interception for a touchdown in the preseason opener, continued his hot streak with two interceptions. But before making his last pick, he could have been flagged for interfering with tight end Terry Jones in the end zone.

Thumbs down:Return specialist Lamont Brightful dropped two punts in special teams practice. ... Special teams coordinator Gary Zauner had to stop practice to get Josh Robinson in the right position for a punt return. ... Fullback Marvin Brown fumbled on a catch over the middle.

Quotable:"I can't wait to play in this game. I just want to show everyone what I can do. It hasn't hit me yet about being nervous." Backup running back Chester Taylor on making his NFL debut tomorrow.

Injuries:Linebackers Peter Boulware (ankle) and Andre Arnold (knee), defensive ends Michael McCrary (knee) and Tony Weaver (ankle), cornerback Gary Baxter (hamstring) and defensive tackle Josh McKibben (stress fracture) did not practice.

Today's schedule:Full-squad practice 9:30 to 11 a.m., and walk-through at 4 p.m.
