Terry Jones

Position: Tight end.

College: Alabama.

Who he is: Jones was picked in the fifth round of the 2002 draft, the 155th overall selection. He is the third tight end to be drafted in Ravens history (Todd Heap, first round, 2001; Cam Quayle, seventh round, 1998). At Alabama last season, he had 156 yards on 12 receptions and two touchdowns. He also played on special teams.

Favorite football moment: "I got two actually. Winning the SEC championship my sophomore year, and getting drafted."

Ravens mentor: "Pretty much it's all the veterans. ... I just sit around and listen to everything they say, especially at meetings. I try to see the way they carry themselves and try to be the same kind of person."

What he brought to camp: "I wear two rubber bands on my wrists. I'm kind of superstitious. During my senior year [in high school], I tore my ACL the one time I didn't wear it. Then during my junior year in college, one of my rubber bands broke in my sleep I guess, and I went out there and played the game and I tore my other ACL. So, I try to keep at least two of them on my wrists and I keep about 30 or 40 of them in my book bag, so if I ever lose one, I can put one on real quick."
