Thumbs up:Travis Taylor had an excellent practice. He caught a 75-yard pass for a touchdown from Chris Redman on the opening play of the final 11-on-11 scrimmage. He also caught a 2-yard pass for a touchdown from Jeff Blake. ... Will Demps made another interception in 7-on-7 drills. ... Dameon Hunter lowered his shoulder and pushed linebacker Gary Davis into the end zone from 2 yards out.

Thumbs down:Tight end Jonathan Burrough committed a false start from the 2-yard line. The play continued and Burrough caught the touchdown.

Quotable:"How could you jump offsides at the 2-yard line, JB?" - offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh, to Burrough.

Injuries:Linebacker Peter Boulware (ankle), defensive end Michael McCrary (knee), cornerback Gary Baxter (hamstring), defensive end Tony Weaver (ankle), linebacker Andre Arnold (knee) and offensive lineman Ken Farrar (knee) did not practice.

Today's schedule:Full-squad practice, 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
