Carjacking: A 22-year-old city man was sitting in his 1995 Lincoln in the 2300 block of W. Fayette St. about 11:15 p.m. Friday when a gunman stepped from a vehicle occupied by another man, ordered the victim from his car and drove off with it. The victim hailed a cab and followed the carjacker briefly.
Assault: Two men were arguing during a basketball game in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. late Saturday when a man known as "Sweets" stabbed another male player in the abdomen. The man fled. The victim, Donte Williamson, 16, was reported in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Burglary: Tools valued at $500 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 500 block of Millington Ave.
Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Saturday in the back yard of a house as he rummaged through property stolen from a van parked in the 600 block of Light St. Charged was Tyrone Carroll, 42, of the 1500 block of N. Bentalou St.
Robbery: Police were seeking a man who assaulted a female employee of Lane Bryant at Towson Town Center about 10:40 p.m. Friday as she was on her way to a bank to make a night deposit. He robbed her of a canvas bag containing an undisclosed sum of money.
Burglary/arrests: Three men were arrested Saturday night shortly after a break-in of a shed at a swimming pool in the 100 block of Beech View Court. While taking a report on the crime, Officer Kevin Scott spotted a pickup truck with three men matching descriptions of the intruders and stopped the vehicle. Charged with fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property were Donald Malloy Jr., 23, and Joseph Giffin 3rd, 21, both of the 9200 block of Oswald Way, White Marsh, and Bradley Rethemeyer, 26, of the 8500 block of Harris Ave., Parkville.
Assault/arrests: Two males, ages 16 and 19, were stabbed about 12:30 a.m. Saturday during an altercation with two men in the first block of Dreher Ave. in Pikesville. The victims were treated at Sinai Hospital and released. Charged with first- and second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon and held on $1 million bail each were Lloyd Green, 35, of the 7000 block of Chipper Road, Woodlawn, and James Williams, 22, of the 100 block of S. Kossuth St., Baltimore.
Burglary: A DVD player and 20 DVDs were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 700 block of Westhills Parkway by someone who entered through a rear door.
Burglary: A lawnmower and hedge shears were stolen between July 24 and the weekend from a shed in the 3500 block of Fairview Road.
