A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot near his East Baltimore home early Friday, marking the city's 158th homicide this year, city police said.

Raymond Jermaine Anthony Black was shot several times at about 3 a.m. in the 2800 block of Madison Ave. Police found his body nearby in the 800 block of North Streeper St.

Police said they have no suspects.

Black, of the 3300 block of McElderry St., was entering his sophomore year at Lake Clifton High School.

He had been raised by his great-aunt since age 12. His father is serving a life term and his mother was recently incarcerated, his great-aunt said.
