Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Burglary: Two dirt bikes - a 1998 Yamaha DW-80 and a 1997 Yamaha DW-50 - were stolen between Sunday and Tuesday from a garage in the 1600 block of Pumphrey St.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: At least 80 compact discs, sunglasses and two two-way radios - all valued at $1,400 - were stolen yesterday from a 1999 Hyundai parked in the 200 block of Penn St.

Theft/arrest: A 37-year-old East Baltimore man was arrested Tuesday by a store security officer when he attempted to leave Save-A-Lot in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. without paying for candy and nuts valued at more than $45.

Theft from vehicle: A car stereo receiver, compact disc player and a speaker with an amplifier - all valued at $700 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer parked in the 1800 block of E. Fort Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A 2002 Lexus GS-300 with tags 395 BLD was stolen Tuesday in the 1200 block of Hull St.

Southwestern District

Theft from vehicle: A garbage disposal, portable radio and power and hand tools - all valued at more than $300 - were stolen Tuesday from a Ford van parked in the first block of Garnet Road.

Burglary: Someone broke into a shed in the 100 block of S. Monastery Ave. on Sunday and stole a washing machine, clothes dryer, electric range, 27-inch television, videocassette recorder, lawnmower and buffing machine. The burglary was reported Monday.

Northern District

Burglary: Between Friday and Monday, someone broke into Aramark Corp. in the 5800 block of Smith Ave. through a door and stole more than $1,500.

Stolen vehicle: A silver 1998 Volvo with tags JNW 380 was stolen Tuesday in the 600 block of E. 37th St.

Northeastern District

Theft: A compact disc player with headphones, valued at nearly $200, was stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Nissan van parked in the 3200 block of Erdman Ave.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Three men were standing outside a store in the 8100 block of Liberty Road about 3 a.m. Tuesday when two men armed with semiautomatic handguns forced them into the building and robbed them of $400.

Burglary/threat: Someone entered a home in the 3600 block of Old Milford Mill Road between 9 p.m. Monday and 3 a.m. Tuesday and threw red mustard seasoning throughout the rooms. A male resident told police the incident was a sign from his Middle Eastern culture, wishing death to the occupants of the house.

Burglary: Coins worth at least $1,000 were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1600 block of Hutzler Lane.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Between Saturday and Monday, someone entered a house in the 12600 block of Belair Road through the front door and stole a cellular phone and a videocassette recorder.

Burglary: A 6-horsepower, self-propelled lawnmower was stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 8700 block of Jarwood Road.
