Williamsburg Group wins Master Builder designation

Williamsburg Group LLC has earned the Certified Master Builder designation from the Home Builders Association of Maryland.

Among the criteria that must be met for a builder to gain the designation are having three years in the business, being audited by an independent accountant to determine financial stability; continuing education requirements; references from customers, suppliers, subcontractors and lenders; and disclosure of any legal proceedings involving the company.

The Columbia-based builder has been operating for 30 years, primarily in Howard County.
