Blue Jays update

Are these teams playing again? The Blue Jays are 4-0 against the Orioles this season, with all games coming in an eight-day span. They swept a two-game series at SkyDome, winning 7-1 and 5-4, and began last night only 3 1/2 games behind the Orioles for third place in the AL East. They stood pat as the non-waiver deadline passed, holding onto outfielders Shannon Stewart and Jose Cruz, Jr., and reliever Kelvim Escobar. The Orioles have lost 14 of their past 16 against Toronto. The good news for the Orioles is they miss Roy Halladay, who has beaten them twice this season. The bad news for the Blue Jays is they miss Jason Johnson, who allowed 12 runs against them in his last two starts before going on the disabled list. Carpenter has defeated Driskill twice, permitting six runs in 15 innings. Toronto has reached Driskill for nine runs in 11 innings.
