Stolen auto: A burgundy 1995 Oldsmobile, with the keys left inside by the owner, was stolen about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday from the 4900 block of O'Donnell St.

Theft from auto: A thief smashed the driver-side vent window of a car in the 3400 block of Eastern Ave. between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday and stole a cordless drill and hammer drill valued at $600.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A Sprint cellular telephone and a car telephone charger were stolen from a green 1994 Mustang in the 100 block of Weber St. between 3 a.m. and 11:55 am. Tuesday. The items were valued at $370.

Theft from vehicle: A JVC compact disc player was stolen from a blue 1991 Geo Prizm between noon and 2:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Stoll St.

Stolen automobile: A green 1994 Dodge Shadow was stolen from the first block of S. Carey St. between 11 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary: A thief stole $500 in cash from a jewelry box during a burglary discovered Tuesday in the 3400 block of Slade Ave.
