Robbery: A woman was walking toward a store in the 5600 block of The Alameda about 2:30 p.m. Sunday with more than $200 in her hand when she was stopped by a man who asked her for $10. Before the 35-year-old victim could reply, the man pulled a handgun, grabbed the money and fled.
Carjacking: A woman, 44, was seated in her gray, four-door 1994 Ford Taurus with tags EDB 748 in the 3100 block of Puget St. about 4 p.m. yesterday when a gunman ordered her out of the vehicle and drove away. The woman's purse containing a cellular phone, watch, four gold pins and a laptop computer was in the car.
Burglary: While the occupant of a house in the 1200 block of Glyndon St. was hospitalized Sunday, someone entered through a rear door and stole a vacuum cleaner, 25-inch television, videocassette recorder, 100 movie tapes and a porcelain figurine - all valued at nearly $1,300.
Theft: A hair dryer, curling iron, clothing, electric shaver, cellular phone and a cellular phone charger were stolen Sunday from a 2000 Ford sedan in the 200 block of W. Hamburg St.
Burglary: A compact disc player and coins were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1900 block of Eastern Ave. by someone who entered through a bathroom window. The loss was put at more than $400.
Burglary: An antique soft-drink machine and two antique gumball machines were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2100 block of E. Baltimore St.
Burglary: Someone broke into Stoneleigh Elementary School through a window during the weekend, scribbled graffiti on a blackboard and threw a fire extinguisher onto the lawn.
Robbery: After a man requested two cartons of cigarettes from a clerk at Rite Aid in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road about 5 p.m. Sunday, he grabbed the cigarettes and fled.
North Point Precinct
Robbery: A woman was pushing a shopping cart across the parking lot at Giant Food in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. about 9 a.m. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property - all valued at $300.
Theft/arrest: A woman, 27, was arrested Sunday when she tried to leave Value City in Eastpoint Mall without paying for CDs and DVDs valued at more than $300.
