Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: A 22-year-old Rosedale, Baltimore County, man was in the 1700 block of N. Spring St. about 3 a.m. yesterday when he was shot during a struggle with a gunman during an attempted robbery. The gunman escaped and the victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was reported to be stable.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Two men in their mid-50s were in the 1900 block of Dundalk Ave. about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when one struck the other in the face and robbed him of $20. No arrest had been made.

Burglary: An antique chair valued at $200 was stolen during the weekend from a house in the 2000 block of E. Baltimore St.

Burglary: A portable tape recorder/radio and a compact disc player were stolen Saturday from a house in the 100 block of S. Linwood Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player, a case containing 30 compact discs and two pairs of sunglasses -- all valued at nearly $700 -- were stolen Saturday from a 1995 Jeep parked in the 1600 block of Eastern Ave.

Theft: A book bag containing 50 compact discs and several books -- all valued at more than $800 -- was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Fleet St. on Saturday.

Southern District

Robbery: A woman, 20, was walking in the 1900 block of Annapolis Road about 10 a.m. yesterday when a man struck her in the face, kicked her in the stomach and robbed her of $200.

Stolen vehicle: A maroon 1995 Dodge van with tags M712957 and equipped with an anti-theft device was stolen yesterday in the 100 block of S. Mount St.

Western District

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Lorman Court during the weekend and stole a 19-inch-screen television and a videocassette recorder -- all valued at $160.

Theft: Video games valued at more than $100 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1900 block of Harlem Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of $300 about 6 p.m. Saturday in the first block of S. Payson St.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player valued at $50 was stolen Saturday from a Ford sedan parked in the 1000 block of Wilmington Ave.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery/arrests: A teen-age male was in the 100 block of Tollgate Road about 10 a.m. Friday when he was assaulted by three males, who robbed him of $63. After receiving information about possible suspects, police later arrested three Randallstown-area males and charged all three as adults with robbery. Held on $50,000 bail was Ralston Blake, 18, of the 3500 block of Jo Ann Drive. Held on $25,000 bail was Christopher J. Mann, 19, of the 3400 block of Kimble Road. Released on bail was Christopher Wouldridge, 16, of the 3300 block of Northmont Road.

Burglary/arrest: Police followed a trail of blood after a burglary early Saturday in a third-floor apartment in the 10000 block of Cascade Falls Court and arrested a man hiding in a parking garage. Police said someone entered the apartment and used a towel to stem the flow of blood. Following the trail, police entered the parking garage and arrested Uli Yahu, 46, a fourth-floor resident of the apartment complex. Police said Yahu was charged with burglary and was being held on $10,000 bond. No property was reported missing.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking a suspect who robbed a man, 82, of the 500 block of Picadilly Road, of $3 after the victim answered a knock at his door about 3 p.m. Thursday. Police said the suspect formerly worked for the victim.
