Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Shooting: Police continue to seek the man who shot Dergie Johnson, 40, in the back about 6:30 p.m. Monday while the victim stood in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. Johnson, of the 1700 block of N. Payson St., was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released. A motive for the shooting was unknown.

Theft from vehicle: Fog lamps, 50 compact discs and a radio were stolen Tuesday from a 1989 Lincoln Continental parked in the 1500 block of Winchester St.

Southern District

Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man robbed First Union Bank in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:25 a.m. yesterday.

Robbery: A 31-year-old man was walking in the 2800 block of Bookert Drive about noon yesterday when a gunman riding a bicycle stopped, robbed him of $20 and continued on.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man was walking in the 3400 block of Leverton Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Monday when he was assaulted by two other men who robbed him of $25.

Theft from vehicle: Stereo radio equipment, a cellular phone and 10 compact discs - all valued at $425 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1989 Saturn parked in the 1600 block of Lancaster St.

Theft: A video camera and a combination TV/videocassette recorder - all valued at $600 - were stolen Tuesday from a Freightliner tractor parked in the 1700 block of Bank St.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A male employee of Changes, a clothing store at Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave., was arrested Tuesday and charged with stealing at least $5,000 worth of T-shirts and underwear between January and earlier this month. The thefts were discovered during a routine inventory. The employee's name was withheld pending his appearance before a District Court commissioner.

Cockeysville Precinct

Vandalism: Someone spray-painted graffiti on the exterior of Michael Miller Furs in the 9800 block of York Road on July 13. The incident was reported Tuesday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Tools of unknown value were stolen between Sunday and Tuesday from a garage in the 3700 block of Michelle Way.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested Tuesday inside a house in the 7800 block of Wilson Ave. and jewelry valued at more than $600 taken from the dwelling was recovered.
