Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Break-in: Someone broke into the city Police Department's mobile command center vehicle parked on the grounds of Harbor Hospital Center in the 3000 block of S. Hanover St. early yesterday. Police said a hospital security officer discovered the break-in about 7 a.m. Entry was gained through a side window. Police said the interior was disturbed, but it was not known what, if any, property was missing. Police said the vehicle was not the new command vehicle, but one that has been used for a long time.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Computer equipment, a microwave oven, television, compact disc player, fax machine and eight two-way radios - all valued at more than $10,000 - were stolen between July 12 Friday and yesterday from a city Bureau of Recreations and Parks building at Patterson Park in the 2600 block of E. Baltimore St.

Theft of vehicle: A blue 1998 Freightliner tractor with tags 387 F85 was stolen between Saturday and Sunday from the 6200 block of Holabird Ave.

Western District

Robbery: Police continue to seek two men, one with a handgun, who robbed Midtown Cash & Carry in the 2300 block of Warwick Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Saturday morning. Before removing money from a safe, the gunman struck an employee with the weapon and then bound the man's arms with tape.

Robbery: A man, 34, was walking in the 600 block of Church St. about 8 a.m. Sunday when a gunman robbed him of $130.

Eastern District

Shooting: Police were seeking a man who fired shots at several men walking in the 800 block of N. Streeper St. about 2:15 a.m. Sunday and hit Isaiah Carter, 18, in the chest, leg, foot and an arm. Police said Carter was in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery try/stabbing: A man, 26, was sitting on the front steps of a house in the 1400 block of N. Luzerne Ave. about 5 a.m. Sunday when a man armed with a knife stabbed him in the right shoulder during an attempted robbery. The assailant fled and the victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 61, was placing groceries in her car in the 1700 block of York Road about 11 a.m. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property - all valued at $70. The man drove off in a tan Honda with unknown tags.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and a crystal elephant figurine - all valued at $200 - were stolen during the weekend from a house in the 2700 block of Summerson Road.
