Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft from vehicle: The rear window of a 1990 white Pontiac was broken at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Tyson St. A golf bag was stolen from the car.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone broke into a home in the 1400 block of Moreling St. on Saturday and took more than 30 compact discs and a pillowcase.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone, 65 compact discs and two CD carrying cases were stolen Saturday from a car in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: An estimated $615 in property was stolen from a home in the 5200 block of Raspe Ave. while the home was unoccupied from July 8 through Saturday.

Northwestern District

Stolen auto: Someone stole a 2002 Dodge Intrepid with license plates KFZ566 on Thursday from the 3700 block of Clarks Lane.

Southern District

Aggravated assault: A man was shot in the chest about 10:45 a.m. yesterday in the 4100 block of 10th St. The man was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police do not know of a suspect or motive.

Stolen motorcycle: A 2002 Honda motorcycle was stolen between 9:30 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. yesterday from the 2000 block of Wilhelm St.

Stolen auto: A 1991 four-door Honda was stolen from the 3700 block of Fairhaven Ave. about 1 a.m. yesterday. The owner told police he left the car keys inside the unlocked vehicle.

Property taken: A man who is renovating a house in the 1400 block of Cooksie St. reported $634 worth of tools stolen from the house sometime between July 8 and Saturday.

Property taken: A man reported that a large luggage bag containing various items was taken at 11 p.m. Friday from atop a car parked in the 400 block of S. Charles St.

Southeastern District:

Commercial burglary: An office computer was stolen between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. yesterday from TNT Manufacturing in the 6500 block of Hane Lane.

Stolen moped: A 2002 Tomos Targa moped was stolen from the rear yard of a house in the 500 block of S. Macon St. between 2:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

Southwestern District:

Stolen car: A 1996 Buick Century was stolen at 2 a.m. yesterday from the 400 block of Furrow St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men entered the Shyan Foods store in the 1700 block of Woodlawn Drive about 6 p.m. Thursday and escaped with $768 after showing a gun.

Towson Precinct

Robberies, carjacking: Two men armed with silver handguns robbed two people in an apartment parking lot at 1101 Charles View Way about 10 p.m. Friday. The men stole an unknown amount of cash from the victims and then ran away. Police believe the same men then stole a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero parked in front of a house at 10501 Falls Road. The driver of the car and his passenger were sitting in the car talking about 10:45 p.m. when the men approached the car and told the victims to get out. The victims' wallet and purse were also stolen.
