Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM stereo compact disc player and speakers -- all valued at $1,500 -- were stolen yesterday from a 1992 Dodge van parked in the 800 block of Key Highway.

Northern District

Robbery: A man and his wife were walking in the 2300 block of N. Charles St. about 4 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed the woman of her purse and the man of his wallet, neither of which contained money.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 200 block of E. University Parkway between Sunday and Tuesday and stole video games and their accessories -- all valued at more than $1,000.

Burglary: A DVD player and DVD accessories -- all valued at $410 -- were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3800 block of Greenway.

Eastern District

Robbery/arrest: A 33-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged with robbing a man, 48, of $250 at gunpoint in the 1500 block of N. Washington St. on June 25. Charged was Willie Watkins, a resident of the 1500 block of N. Washington St.

Robbery: Four men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of his cellular phone in the 2700 block of E. Eager St. about 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Southeastern District

Theft: A .22-caliber Beretta pistol with serial No. DAA255309 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6700 block of Graceland Ave.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at nearly $4,000 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 8100 block of Hillendale Road.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery try: A man armed with a knife tried to rob a woman of her pager while she refueled her car at an Amoco station in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road about 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Thefts: Police were seeking two 15-year-old boys suspected of stealing bicycles from the rear yards of homes in the first block of Wyegate Court in Owings Mills between July 1 and July 9.

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed a Subway food shop in the 100 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville of food and an undisclosed sum of money about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Missing person: Police are looking for Walter Edmonds, 48, missing since June 28 when he left his home in the 3600 block of Kenyon Ave. He suffers from epilepsy, and police said Edmonds had no medication with him and can become violent without it. He was last seen wearing brown pants, a brown striped sweater, brown leather coat and white tennis shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call city police at 410-396-2334.
