Warrant issued for arrest of man in assault on infant

A Severn man demanded money from two Autumn Lake Court residents by placing a handgun to their infant daughter's arm Tuesday night, Anne Arundel County police said.

Milton McLean, 33, of the 1800 block of Montreal Road has been charged in a warrant with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and first-degree burglary, police said. He was still being sought as of last night.

Police said the infant's father wrestled the assailant for the weapon while another resident ran next door to call 911. Officers were unable to find the man when they arrived at the scene, police said.

Police arrested 18-year-old Bryan Jerrell Eagleton, ending an investigation into drug distribution from his residence. Eagleton has been charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine, police said.

Investigators also seized $1,152 in cash, police said.
