River Hill's sixth crab feast is to be held Aug. 17 at pool

The River Hill Community Association will sponsor its sixth crab feast, an adults-only, all-you-can-eat event, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 17 at the River Hill pool, 6330 Trotter Road.

The cost is $35. Tickets, which are available at the River Hill village office, must be purchased in advance.

Central library to offer an Internet workshop

The central library, 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, will offer a workshop on effective techniques for navigating the Internet, using search engines and evaluating Web sites. "Untangling the Web" will be offered from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Graduates: Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Amy B. Klein, daughter of Roberta G. Neal of Town Center and Stephen Klein of Lincolnwood, Ill., has graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J., and was promoted to her current rank.

Participants can make gifts for family and friends - aromatherapy bath salts, rosebud and lavender potpourri, and a rosebud grape-vine wreath. The cost is $25, including materials.
