Yankees update

The Yankees are 4-2 against the Orioles this season and have hit 11 home runs in those six games. The Bronx Bombers have maintained that pace against the rest of their opponents, hitting a major-league leading 91 homers in 57 games. The Orioles, for comparison, have 62 in 54 games. In a four-game series against the Yankees, the Orioles were bound to see some good pitching, and it doesn't get much better than this. Clemens, Wells and Mussina are a combined 21-6. Clemens is an uncharacteristic 0-1 with an 8.74 ERA in two starts against the Orioles this season, with the loss coming Opening Day at Camden Yards. Mussina, who pitched seven scoreless innings against the Orioles on April 4, has won five straight decisions overall. Wells is 2-0 vs. the Orioles with a 2.35 ERA.
