John Walter Lord Jr.:

A memorial service for John Walter Lord Jr., the Baltimore-born historian and author of A Night to Remember who died May 19, will be held at noon June 10 at the New York Historical Society, 2 W. 77th St. and Central Park West, in New York City.

Gilman School has planned a "Celebration of the Life of Gilman and Baltimore Son, Walter Lord," at 2 p.m. June 16 in its alumni auditorium, on the campus at 5407 Roland Ave.
