A New Windsor man died yesterday of injuries he suffered in an accident Sunday when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a pickup truck on Route 407 in Carroll County.
Stephen Edward Toop, 40, died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore yesterday afternoon, state police reported.
Toop was driving a 1985 Harley-Davidson west on Route 407 near New Windsor about 5 p.m. when he crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 1981 GMC pickup truck driven by Lawrence Martin Beck, 53, of Baltimore, police said. Beck and his two passengers were uninjured.
