Meridian's Rebert chief of cardiopulmonary unit

Meridian Medical Technologies Inc. appointed Carl J. Rebert as president of the Columbia-based company's cardiopulmonary systems unit. He will be responsible for the unit's day-to-day business. An MBA graduate of California State University, he was formerly president of Vesta Medical Inc.

Stalder joins Mercy as senior vice president

Mercy Medical Center announced that James R. Stalder joined the downtown health care facility as senior vice president and chief information officer for Mercy Health Services. A resident of Millersville, the Duke University graduate was formerly a senior vice president with USinternetworking Inc.

Colliers Pinkard hires Weiss as vice president

Colliers Pinkard announced that Stephen C. Weiss joined the Baltimore-based commercial realty firm as vice president of its investment services group. He will have responsibility for investment sales and the sourcing and placement of equity and debt for real estate transactions. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, he is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Mortgage Bankers Association and serves on the advisory council of the South Baltimore Learning Center.
