Bowie 9, New Haven 4: Tim Raines Jr. had two hits and scored three runs to lead the Baysox over the Ravens, giving Bowie its first road victory of the season after 22 losses. Mike Paradis (2-4) pitched eight solid innings to earn the win. He allowed four runs in the first three innings but settled down and held New Haven scoreless in the next six innings. Ray Cabrera had two hits and three RBIs for the Baysox, and Izzy Molina had two hits and two RBIs.

Single-A Carolina League

Myrtle Beach 6, Frederick 0: The Keys (13-35) were beaten for the second straight night by the Pelicans (28-20) before 7,246 at Harry Grove Stadium. It was the fourth time the Keys have been shut out this season. Darryll Roque (0-5) allowed four runs on six hits in five innings. Roque allowed all of his runs in the second inning.
