New Haven 4, Bowie 3: Kevin Nicholson drove in two runs to lead the host Ravens over the Baysox for their 10th consecutive victory. Ed Rogers recorded his team-leading 26th RBI for Bowie, which fell to 0-22 on the road. Erik Bedard (2-2) struck out five but surrendered four runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings to take the loss.

Single-A Carolina League

Myrtle Beach 9, Frederick 6: Matt Schwager (3-4) allowed 11 hits and eight runs (seven earned) in five innings to take the loss before 3,215 at Harry Grove Stadium. Kris Wilken led the Keys' offense, going 4-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.
