Morag Muirhead joins Warschawski staff

Warschawski Public Relations added Morag Muirhead to the staff of the Mount Washington based agency as a junior associate. A native of Scotland, she graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University and was formerly a sales and marketing assistant with Absolute Quality, an international software testing company.

Banking

Bay National Bank appoints senior directors

BankingBay National Bank announced the appointments of Charles J. Fleury IV and Maxine V. Hoen as senior directors for the Lutherville-based financial institution.

Fleury, a graduate of Lehigh University, Towson University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, was formerly a vice president with Allfirst Bank. He will be responsible for commercial relationship banking. A resident of Wiltondale, he is active in the Towson Development Corp. and other community and county organizations. Hoen, a former vice president of NationsBank, will be responsible for servicing the bank's private banking clients. A graduate of Middlebury College, she lives in Green Spring Valley, is active in several community organizations and is a trustee of the Irvine Nature Center.

1st Mariner names Connors commercial loan officer

1st Mariner Bank, with headquarters in Canton, named Cris Connors as a commercial loan officer. He will be responsible for generating and processing mid-level loans and working with retail branches and mortgage offices in Anne Arundel County and the Washington metropolitan area. A graduate of Old Dominion University, he is active with the Annapolis Business Association and the Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce.

Health Care

Development official named at UMMS

Health careUniversity of Maryland Medical Systems named John Marcy vice president for development. He will be responsible for the daily operations of the development section, fund-raising activities, major gifts, special events and planned giving. An MBA graduate of Temple University, he was a senior vice president for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System in southern New Jersey.
