Winchester Homes has released the first 12 of 117 townhouse lots in the first section of its Chapel Grove community. A total of 159 home sites are planned.

The community, with proximity to Crofton Golf Course and Crofton Park, offers residents a pool and bathhouse. Also, it offers public water and sewer systems as well as gas heat.

Standard features include brick fronts, finished lower-level recreation rooms, hardwood foyers and powder rooms, cathedral ceilings in the master bedroom and vaulted ceilings in the front bedrooms, and home security systems.

Prices range from $219,000 for interior units and $225,000 for end units.

The Bedford floor plan features on the first floor a 12-by-10-foot dining room, a 12-by-10-foot living room, a 19-by-13-foot kitchen, a bathroom, an optional 10-by-10-foot morning room, and a foyer connected to the lower level.

The second floor has a 13-by-13-foot master bedroom, master bath and walk-in closet; two 9-by-9-foot bedrooms; and an additional bathroom.

The lower level has a garage, an optional 12-by-15-foot recreation room, a laundry room and an optional bath.

To get to Chapel Grove from Baltimore, take Route 50 east for about six miles. Take Route 3 north for six miles and turn left on Waugh Chapel Road. Proceed for 1.5 miles and pass Strawberry Lake Way. The community will be on your left.
