`ArtQuest' comes to Shamrock Park

Get artsy Saturday at "ArtQuest: Exploring the Visual Arts" at Shamrock Park in Bel Air. Featuring works by more than 200 professional and amateur artists of Harford County, the show is a celebration of all things artistic and crafty. You can browse and purchase artists' works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, pastel, ceramic, pottery, stained glass, wood, photography and more. Watch artist demonstrations, such as glass-blowing. Take part in art workshops, such as pottery making, painting and drawing, all under the guidance of professional artists. A Young Artists' Exhibit will feature works by artists under age 18. Entertainment will be presented by Vox Americana! the Bobbi Griffin Band, Jack Foraker's Puppet Theater and the Harford Ballet. Refreshments will be available.

"ArtQuest" takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Shamrock Park, Hickory Avenue and Lee Way, Bel Air. Free. Call 410-638-5974.
