The C. Milton Wright tennis team finished an undefeated season by winning the Harford County Championships yesterday at Harford Community College.

The Mustangs scored 33 points to win their second consecutive county title and finish the year with a 15-0 record. Runner-up North Harford had 20 points and third-place Fallston 13.

"We have a pretty young team, and I was pleased the way they responded to the tournament situation," said C. Milton Wright coach Peter Griffiths.

In the boys singles final, the Mustangs' unbeaten freshman, Roger Torres, rolled by North Harford's Matt Mansfield, 6-1, 6-1.

C. Milton Wright's girls' doubles team of Tammy Hoory and Katie Moore topped teammates Jessie Willard and Liv Willard, 7-5, 6-1, in a battle of undefeated teams.

Joppatowne's Liezl Samios-Uy won her third straight county title, beating C.M. Wright's Carlie Smith, 6-1, 7-5.
