Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Carjacking try/robbery: Four women were about to enter a 2002 BMW parked in the 200 block of S. High St. in Little Italy at 12:05 a.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed the driver of its keys, then took credit cards and $100 from two women. When the women ran toward a restaurant to report the robbery, the men entered the vehicle but were unable to start it and fled on foot.

Carjacking: Police said the same men involved in the South High Street incident robbed a man of his cellular phone and his 2002 Ford Taurus moments later in the 200 block of S. Exeter St., also in Little Italy. The victim, 32, was seated in his car at 12:15 a.m. when the two men, one with a handgun, ordered him out and drove away. The car has tags JVD 443.

Robbery try: A gunman was ordering an employee of a Little Tavern to give him money from the cash register about 6 a.m. Sunday when two customers entered, causing the gunman to flee empty-handed from the restaurant in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave.

Southwestern District

Shooting: An 18-year-old man remained in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot in the head about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of S. Caton Ave. by an unknown assailant.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: Police were seeking a black 2000 Plymouth Neon with tags HSJ 548 that was stolen Thursday night in the 6200 block of Plymouth Road.

Western District

Assault: A female resident of the 1800 block of Ashburton St. was ordering a man selling drugs away from the front of her house about 5 p.m. Sunday when the man's girlfriend pulled a knife and cut the woman on the left arm.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Carjacking: Three males were walking toward a 1993 Honda Civic parked in the 300 block of Delaware Ave. about 1 a.m. Sunday when three other males, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, ordered them to the ground and robbed them of their keys, nearly $400 and two cellular phones. The gunman and one accomplice drove off in the Honda, followed by the third robber driving a Saturn. The Honda was recovered.
