Indians update

Brady Anderson will make his first appearance at Camden Yards since the Orioles released him in November. Anderson, who missed yesterday's game with back spasms, got off to a great start this season, but his average has dipped to .176. Since opening the season 11-1, the Indians are 4-15. Even with yesterday's 9-2 victory over Texas, they have been outscored in their past 19 games, 120-53. In 15 of those games, the Indians have been held to three runs or fewer. After last season, Cleveland chose not to keep Roberto Alomar, Juan Gonzalez, Kenny Lofton and Marty Cordova, so it's no surprise the offense has suffered. Cordova signed with the Orioles, and he is hitting .367. The Orioles catch a break by missing Cleveland's hard-throwing duo of C.C. Sabathia and Bartolo Colon. Drese won Cleveland's fifth-starter job as a rookie coming out of spring training by going 4-1 with a 4.00 ERA.
