Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft: A leather carrying bag and clothing -- all valued at $370 -- were stolen Saturday from a 2001 Kia parked in the 200 block of E. Redwood St.

Southern District

Theft: Police were seeking a man who stole nine T-shirts valued at $130 from a display rack at Fashion Cents in the 4400 block of Annapolis Road on Friday. The theft was reported Saturday.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 3500 block of Fourth St. in Brooklyn on Saturday and removed $1,500 in cash from a bedroom dresser drawer.

Northeastern District

Theft: Two men were helping a friend move from his house in the 4100 block of Raymon Ave. on Saturday when a fourth man entered the house and stole a camera valued at more than $250.

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicle: A stereo system and tools -- all valued at nearly $400 -- were stolen from a 1997 Ford Ranger parked in the 700 block of S. Bagley St. on Saturday.

Western District

Burglary/stolen car: A male resident of the 2300 block of W. Fayette St. was awakened early Saturday by the sound of a man crawling on the floor next to his bed. The intruder fled through a kitchen window when challenged by the resident. About 20 minutes later, the resident noticed when he looked outside that his burgundy, four-door 1991 Honda with tags 22Y 748 had been stolen. It was not known whether the two crimes were related.

Eastern District

Stabbing: Two women were arguing over a man in the 1200 block of N. Luzerne Ave. on Saturday when one stabbed the other in the abdomen with a knife. The victim, 27, was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sought was a woman, 23, known as "Shanene."

Northern District

Burglary: Coins, a videocassette recorder and antiques -- all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1000 block of W. 41st St.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Burglary arrests: Two teen-age boys from Dundalk were arrested Saturday after being chased on foot by police. They were charged with breaking into a house in the 2400 block of Durwood Road moments earlier through a basement door and stealing two air pistols, gloves and $500 cash. All the property was recovered and the boys, ages 16 and 17, were released into the custody of their parents.

Essex Precinct

Robbery/arrest: A man was leaving Baltimore County Savings Bank in the first block of Margaret Ave. about 9:30 a.m. Friday when another man stabbed him in the hand with a knife and robbed him of $50 in quarters. Later, police arrested a suspect and charges were pending.

White Marsh Precinct

Malicious burning: A 1980 Oldsmobile was found abandoned and engulfed in flames Saturday on CSX Railroad property off Jones Road.
