The Curve jumped ahead 3-0 in the second inning, watched Bowie (5-19) rally for four in the third, then broke away from a 4-4 tie with four runs in the fourth. Altoona starter Justin Reid (4-1) picked up the win despite giving up four runs over five innings. Bowie's Mike Paradis (1-3) surrendered eight runs - four earned - in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss. The Baysox finished with five errors. Doug Gredvig hit a two-run homer, his sixth, to highlight Bowie's four-run third inning.
