Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Home invasion: Two men wearing black ski masks forced their way into a house in the 100 block of S. Eaton St. about 10 a.m. Tuesday, bound a 20-year-old female resident and set a fire in a room. The fire caused minor damage, and the woman was not injured. No property was stolen, and a motive was unknown.

Burglary: Someone broke into the U.S. Army Reserve Center in the 1900 block of Broening Highway on Tuesday through a window and ransacked an administration office. No property was reported stolen.

Northeastern District

Burglary: The ex-boyfriend of a woman who lives in the 5200 block of Frankford Ave. is suspected of entering her apartment through a kitchen window Tuesday and leaving two love notes. The contents of the notes were not disclosed by police.

Theft: Two head rests, a gear shift knob and four wheel covers - all valued at nearly $1,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Honda Accord in the 1600 block of E. Cold Spring Lane.

Western District

Stabbing: A man, 22, was standing at Monroe and Lexington streets Tuesday evening when another man stabbed him in the hand, stomach and back. With the knife in his back, the victim stumbled to the 2000 block of N. Monroe St., where he was found by police and taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He was listed in critical but stable condition yesterday.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1300 block of W. Fayette St. by someone who entered through a window.

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1987 Cadillac with tags JZL 631 was stolen Tuesday in the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: About 7 p.m. Tuesday, a gunman robbed Payless Shoes in the 2300 block of Ashton St. of more than $90 and a pair of size 12 shoes valued at $24.

Robbery: Police were seeking three men, one with a handgun, who forced a man, 38, into a wooded areas off the 3600 block of St. Joseph St. about 9 p.m. Monday and robbed him of $12.

Stolen vehicle: A 1985 Chevrolet Corsica with tags KCW 788 was stolen Tuesday in the 4300 block of Eldone Road.

Southern District

Theft/arrest: A man, 33, from the 1000 block of Haverhill Road was arrested Tuesday when he tried to leave Metro Food Market in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. without paying for eight packs of razors valued at $44.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A blue 1979 Vespa mo-ped valued at $200 was stolen Tuesday from the rear yard of a house in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd.

Burglary: Hockey equipment and a briefcase were stolen Tuesday from a storage locker in an apartment building in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer and $40 cash were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6800 block of Chippewa Drive.

Burglary: Two bicycles and lawn-care equipment were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 3600 block of Briarstone Road in Randallstown.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry, cash and a laptop computer were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1600 block of Bluffdale Road.
