Red Sox update

Red Sox Nation had an extra day to celebrate Derek Lowe's no-hitter, as yesterday's game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays was rained out. The Red Sox kept their pitching rotation the same, giving the Orioles a break because they will face Castillo tonight and not face John Burkett in the series finale as originally scheduled. The Orioles scored five runs off Castillo in 3 1/3 innings in their 7-5 victory Tuesday. Burkett returned from the disabled list and won his first two starts, posting a 1.64 ERA. The Orioles will have to face Martinez, however, and he allowed just one hit against them in seven innings Thursday. Boston entered yesterday leading the American League in batting (.302 average) and pitching (3.47 ERA). Boston won four of its first six games against the Orioles, but lost two of three last week at Camden Yards.
