* Today is the last day to catch the Maryland Orchid Society's annual show at the Owings Mills Town Center. Orchid enthusiasts and commercial growers from throughout the region will present their most exotic blooms and offer advice on caring for orchids. The show is open from noon to 6 p.m.

* More than 350 artists and craft designers will exhibit their work at the 24th annual "Sugarloaf Crafts Festival," which ends today at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. Show is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $7.

* Stop and experience "Flower Power," an exhibit of watercolor paintings by Anne Gaver of White Hall, Friday through May 25 at Clay Orbit. Opening reception is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Clay Orbit, 10918 York Road, Cockeysville. Gaver has been painting for 25 years. Her style is marked by vibrant color and energy.
