Frederick 4, Potomac 1: Eli Whiteside had a pair of doubles and two RBIs, and right-hander Beau Hale pitched seven strong innings as the host Keys topped the Cannons. Hale (2-2) allowed a run on five hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking none. Eddy Rodriguez pitched a scoreless ninth for his fourth save. Jeremy Cook (0-2) allowed two runs on six hits over four innings as the Cannons (8-11) lost for the fourth time in five games. The Keys (4-17), who entered the night with the worst record in professional baseball, turned three double plays.
