Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Robbery: Police are seeking a man who posed as a security officer and forced his way into the room of a guest at Holiday Inn Express in the 1400 block of Bloomfield Ave. about 12:15 a.m. Sunday and robbed the man of $300, a cellular phone and travel bag. The impostor drove off in a light blue 1999 BMW with tags JJH 691.

Carjacking: A male motorist was standing outside his 1989 Cadillac DeVille in the 1400 block of Bloomfield Ave. about 4 a.m. Monday when three men assaulted him and stole the car with tags JDT 503.

Shooting: A man, 22, was walking in the first block of N. Beechfield Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday when someone shot him in the left shoulder.

Northwestern District

Stabbing: Warrants have been issued charging two men with attempted murder in the stabbing of a man in the bedroom of a house in the 3100 block of Virginia Ave. Monday night. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: A battery-powered saw and an 18-volt battery - with a combined worth of $140 - were stolen Monday from a 1988 Ford van parked in the first block of E. Cross St.

Northern District

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Stadium Lounge in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. of more than $200 about 10 p.m. Monday.

Arson: Someone set fire Monday evening to the rear of a house in the 700 block of Melville Ave. Flames spread to the rear of an adjoining house. Damage was estimated at $26,000.

Vehicle/man sought: A blue 1995 Subaru Imprezza station wagon with tags 211 BCG, taken April 18 as part of a home-invasion robbery in the 4300 block of Wickford Road is being sought by police.

Southeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A gold 1996 Honda with tags KGN 895 was stolen Monday in the 1800 block of Gough St.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Rape/robberies: Three men and a woman were in a room at the Econo Lodge motel in the 400 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville early Monday when two men, one with a handgun and the other a knife, entered. After tying up the victims, one of the intruders raped the woman. They stole $500, jewelry, other personal items and a 2002 Cadillac Escalade with Pennsylvania tag ENA 5840 that was owned by one of the victims.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking a woman and man who robbed Overlea Subs in the 6700 block of Belair Road of $140 about 11:25 p.m. Sunday. Police said the woman had a shotgun.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two employees of Dot's, in the Perring Crossing Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Cleanleigh Drive, were about to make a bank deposit about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed them of the store's receipts and their money - more than $1,700 in all.
