Triple-A International League

Rochester 2, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 0: Travis Driskill tossed a three-hit shutout to lead the host Red Wings over the Red Barons.

Driskill (2-1) struck out seven and has yielded just one earned run over his first 19 innings this season. Luis Garcia had the lone RBI for Rochester, which improved to 7-6.

Double-A Eastern League

Akron 5, Bowie 4: Pinch hitter Nate Grindell drove in Troy Cameron with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, as the host Aeros defeated the Baysox.

Akron reliever and winning pitcher Jose Vargas (1-0) blew a save opportunity in the top of the ninth, when Darnell McDonald drove in Dave Ullery to tie the score at four.

Bowie's Napoleon Calzado drove home two runs with a single in the sixth while Baysox starter Kenny Simms gave up four runs, one earned, over 4 2/3 innings.
