Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Theft: Tools valued at $3,400 were stolen Monday from a 1998 Chevrolet van parked in the 200 block of Quinton St.

Theft from vehicle: A resident of the 700 block of S. Exeter St. heard his Jeep's alarm sounding Tuesday, went outside and saw a man leaving the vehicle - taking a cell phone and wallet. The owner chased but failed to catch the thief.

Stolen vehicle: A silver four-door 1999 Honda with Pennsylvania tags DPN 0016 was stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of N. Clinton St.

Theft from vehicle: A jacket, tools and car-care kit - all valued at nearly $700 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1996 Jeep parked in the 1500 block of E. Lexington St.

Western District

Robbery: Two women and a man entered another man's house in the 1900 block of W. North Ave. about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, threatened him with a knife and robbed the 55-year-old victim of state lottery tickets valued at $60. Police said the trio had followed the victim home from a store after he purchased the tickets.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment and a television - all valued at $850 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3700 block of Ferndale Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A red four-door 1993 Ford with tags JAX 179 was stolen Tuesday in the 3400 block of Fairview Ave.

Southwestern District

Theft: Three women were being sought in the theft Tuesday of a child support check for $1,400 from the mailbox of a house in the 900 block of Poplar Grove St.

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1991 Dodge Spirit with tags JTF 786 was stolen Tuesday in the 2200 block of Roslyn Ave.

Theft: A white 1991 Dodge Shadow with tags KDN 851 was stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of Queensgate Road.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Six bushels of crabs were stolen overnight Monday from a shed in the 10500 block of Bird River Road that is owned by a man who sells seafood from his home.

Burglary: A coffee can containing $575 was stolen from a closet in a home in the 2100 block of Oakland Road on Tuesday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Theft/arrest: An 18-year-old East Baltimore man attempted to leave Best Buy in the 1700 block of Belmont Ave. on Tuesday after allegedly stealing $574 worth of video games, but was held by an employee until police arrived. Charged with theft was James Allen, of the 2400 block of E. Biddle St.

Stolen vehicle: A beige 1992 Plymouth station wagon with Pennsylvania tag DXG3625 was stolen Tuesday in the 5700 block of Baltimore National Pike.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A green 2000 Mazda ProtM-XgM-X with tags JLP417 was stolen Tuesday from the parking lot at Owings Mills Town Center.

Stolen vehicle: A green 1996 Volkswagen Golf with tags GXB051 was stolen Tuesday in the 4400 block of Old Court Road.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Video games and their accessories - all valued at nearly $350 - were stolen Saturday from a house in the 700 block of Peach Orchard Lane. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
