Cmdr. Paul J. Dour, 42, naval officer

A Mass of Christian burial for Navy Cmdr. Paul J. Dour, a 1982 Naval Academy graduate who was in charge of the service's Fleet Industrial Supply Center in Everett, Wash., will be offered at 3 p.m. today in the academy chapel.

Commander Dour died of a heart attack April 10 while conducting a shipboard inspection in Bremerton, Wash. He was 42.

A native of Seaford, N.Y., Commander Dour earned master's degrees from the University of Washington and the Naval War College. He maintained close ties to the Naval Academy and interviewed potential midshipmen as a Blue and Gold officer.

He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Moran, whom he met while stationed in Washington, D.C., and married 12 years ago in the academy chapel; two sons, Vincent, 9, and Brennan, 5; a daughter, Colleen, 7; his mother; two brothers; and three sisters.
