Police seek 2 women in armed robbery of Westminster High's

State police are looking for two women who robbed the High's convenience store in the 400 block of Main St. in Westminster.

The women entered the store about 4:45 p.m. Monday. One pointed a silver revolver-type handgun at the store clerk and demanded money, according to state police at the Westminster barracks. The cashier handed them an undisclosed amount of money, and the pair fled in a black 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier that was parked nearby, police said.

The woman with the gun was described as black, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, with black hair and a dark complexion. She was wearing dark clothing and a yellow bandanna around her head. The other woman was black, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with braided black hair. She was wearing dark clothing and sunglasses with yellow lenses.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Maryland State Police at 410-386-3000.
