Lloyd Lee Dunbar Jr., 23, management trainee

Lloyd Lee Dunbar Jr., a management trainee and former restaurant cook, died Wednesday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center of injuries suffered in an automobile accident April 2. He was 23.

Mr. Dunbar, a Lochearn resident, was injured when his car struck a utility pole at Liberty Heights Avenue and Garrison Boulevard.

Born in Reisterstown and raised in Woodlawn, he was a 1998 graduate of Woodlawn High School, where he bowled and was a member of the basketball and football teams.

Mr. Dunbar, who enjoyed cooking, had worked as a cook at Red Lobster, Tony Roma's and Old Country Buffet. Since January, he had been employed as a management trainee at Warehouse Wholesalers in Arbutus.

An avid bowler, he also enjoyed attending basketball games with his mother, Lynne D. Dunbar, who survives him.

Mr. Dunbar's father, Lloyd Lee Dunbar Sr., died in 1993.

Services will be held at noon Monday at March Funeral Home West, 4300 Wabash Ave.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Pitt of Lochearn; and his fiancee, Donnita Williams of Owings Mills.
